Packing, packing, packing

Wow, up to five posts already. I admit we will be a little slow, but then again we're not trying to do things fast. right now Maura and I are trying to get all of our stuff together for our trip, it's... challenging, to say the least. Three pairs of shorts or just two, how many pairs of underwear, if any at all?! It all comes down to how dirty you want to be at the end of the day. Either way our list is ever growing and we will likely be sending many things back.

        Our family just had our combo yay start of summer! and my graduation party. It was, well, amazing. there were probably around 50 or 60 people at any one time, a live band, awesome food, even more awesome people, and, of course, a dance floor. I cant wait to have one of these parties again.

As the title says, it is the final week. Of what you may ask? Well to answer plainly, highschool, I am about to graduate and step into the wholly unrealistic and sheltered world of college. Hopefully before that however I'll be taking a gap year to go out and learn a little more about the world than my four years of engineering will teach me. First though I must make it over the hurdles of this week. On Wednesday my small private school will be doing a production of Beauty and the Beast. We're hoping it will go well, it has children of all ages and they don't always decide to behave as you ask. My father and I just installed the sole set piece we built for it and are just praying that it wont fall over on someone or simply collapse. Either way it should be good. I'll likely have photos of it soon.

That's it! We have finally finished all of our AP exams! I ended up taking Chemistry, English Literature, US History, and Microeconomics. All of them felt decent except the Chemistry but I won't know my scores until July! Ohwell. I'll be far from school by then.

In The Begining

I am Dan McMahon from Cincinnati, Ohio and this is the start of my crazy awesome adventure blog. I will post things as frequently as I can (or want) and hopefully it will document my crazy awesome adventure.

First on the list is my high school graduation! Soon after I will be heading out to ride my bicycle across the country with my sister Maura!
